Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here. Life can be incredibly challenging, and finding the right therapist is no small task. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel respected, seen, and empowered. Together, we can work to address the challenges you’re facing and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
Whether you’re navigating life as an LGBTQ+ individual, managing anxiety or depression, exploring your next steps, resolving relationship conflicts, enhancing communication, or deepening self-awareness, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
As a generalist social worker, I use an integrative approach, drawing from various therapeutic techniques to meet each client’s unique needs. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and strengths-based therapy. I also strive to approach my work through an anti-colonial lens, with a deep awareness of systemic oppression and its impact on our lives.
Originally from Texas, I moved to California in 2021 after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas Woman’s University and my Master’s degree in Social Work through the joint program at the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University. My experience includes working as a school social worker at Denton High School before transitioning to private practice in California.
I am a Queer, Trans, Non-binary, white, neurodivergent human who values diversity in all its forms. My passion lies in supporting Neurodivergent, Queer, Trans, and Gender Non-conforming individuals, particularly youth and young adults, as well as their families and loved ones. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, using my personal experiences, education, creativity, and clinical skills to help clients navigate identity exploration and life’s everyday challenges. Everyone has their own unique story, and I believe therapy should be tailored to fit your individual needs. Let’s work together to find the approach that resonates with you and helps you thrive.
